As you might recall, or care less about, I am board member of BRAK. Today there was this presentation seminar thing of an extensive report regarding culture and commerce in our region, the western part of Norway. BRAK is an interest organisation for regional music, our current goal is to professionalize and internationalize the local music industry.

The report is available for free download (PDF, Norwegian only) and is VERY good read. Extensive and well researched.

Update: It has come to my attention from several sources that my opinion of some of the rather charming presentations and powerpoint pitfalls at the seminar wasn't nice and potentially hurtful to those involved. So to avoid hurting anyones feelings I have removed the text. My impatience shouldn't get in the way of a good report on an important issue.
