Kaiju opera film concert! Premiere in Oslo on April 16th.
The Lost World is a silent sci-fi classic from 1925. Daring adventurers explore a mysterious plateau of pre-historic monsters deep in the Amazon jungle, following a lost expedition.
The film is based on Arthur Conan-Doyles best-selling novel, and has astonishingly innovative monster animation, endless action, questionable non-PC characters, and a surprisingly bitter-sweet romantic sub-plot. The Lost World is the mother of all monster and disaster movies.
I’m performing my brand new music to the film, live in the cinema.
Premiere is at Oslo Silent Movie Festival on April 16th, at Cinemateket i Oslo. Tickets available now.
Next showings are Silent Movie Days in Tromsø at Verdensteateret April 25th and at Bergen International Film Festival on October 18th, 2026. Tickets for BIFF will be available in August.
