On August 9, 2025, Ugress plays at the renowned Sziget Festival in Budapest, Hungary. This will be a duo performance with long time collaborator Nasra Ali Omar on drums.
Sziget Festival in Budapest is widely regarded as one of Europe’s premier music and cultural festivals. Held annually on Óbuda Island in the Danube River, it has evolved from a modest student gathering in 1993 into a massive international event attracting hundreds of thousands of attendees from over 100 countries
We are performing at the beautiful Magic Mirror stage Saturday. There isn’t an official stage schedule yet but AFAIK we’re on at 18:00 according to my info. Knowing festivals, this might change at short notice so please check the programme on the day.
