A micro history. Back in 2000, I decided to start performing live and release my stuff on vinyl. I borrowed 500 EUR from a friend to pay for vinyl pressing (its costs 5 times more today). Another friend helped with the cover artwork and release party flyer. A third friend owned a local coffee shop, where I could have the release party. I think it was a Wednesday? So on a gloomy autumn evening in 2000, around 30 people or so experienced the very first, very ramshackle Ugress concert.
The E-Pipe EP sold out within a few months. I continued with ramshackle live performances.
And you supported me. So here we are.
